Daima Has Reached Its Climactic Final Battle in Style

Dragon Ball Daima’s most recent episode #17, “Gomah”, finally kicked off the series' final confrontation, as the evil King Gomah appeared to put an end to the not-so-friendly sparring match between Goku and Majin Duu. Withthe mysterious Third Eyeresiding firmly in his forehead, the King assumed a towering muscular form,and Goku immediately realized he would pose a threat to Earth’s heroes. The fighting which followed was an all-out, large-scale team effort to take Gomah down, and it didn’t go all that well.

ThoughDragon Ballhas its roots in adventure and fantasy, its main selling point has long been action,andDaimahas consistently knocked it out of the park in that aspect. Not only is the art direction of the series, courtesy of Maya Kasai, on point, but the animation is buttery smooth, fast-paced, and full of motion like no otherDragon Ballseries has ever seen. With the best of the fighting still to come in the anime, it’s near certainDaima’s visuals will only improve from this point forward.
