Chu, the first half of the two-part film adaptation of the Broadway musical of the same name arrived in theaters on November 22, and is currently in its fourth week of showing. Having just crossed the $524 million milestone worldwide, the film’s box office continues to hit more marks as the holiday season hits another lucrative period. The second part,now titledWicked: For Good, will release in theaters in November 2025.
Wickedis currently sitting at the No. 3 spot among the top 2024 moviesat the domestic box office with $365.2 million, according toThe Numbers.
