At just 29 years old,Pickle is no stranger to the swamp as she comes from a long line of alligator hunters, being introduced to it by her grandfather. According toPickle’s History Channel Bio, her great-grandfather was one of the original alligator hunters in the St. Bernard Parish. Pickle’s deep understanding of alligator hunting through her lineage, is a big reason she can be so successful despite being so young.

Outside of her appearances onSwamp People, Pickle lives a full life, which she shares onInstagram. On June 28, 2025, Pickle even revealed thatshe was pregnant. This will be the second child she has with her partner, Joshua Kippes, as they had a little girl early in 2023. With season 16 ofSwamp Peopledone filming, Pickle’s pregnancy will likely not affect her appearances in the upcoming season, though it’s unknown if her growing family will affect her appearances.

It is unclear just how long Pickle and Joshua Kippes have been dating, but they announced their first pregnancy back in November 2022.
