TheScreamfranchise has featured 13 Ghostfaces over the course of six films, butone villain has more victims than the rest (and their kill count will be difficult to beat). While the number of murders for the majority ofScream’s antagonists are disputed among many, seeing as they’re almost always wearingthe iconic Ghostface costume, the one with the most is indisputable. As for the rest of the villains, the kill count for some is clearer than the others.
Many agree thatthe best Ghostface in theScreamfranchiseis and will always be Billy Loomis, played by Skeet Ulrich, in the first movie. It’s always going to be difficult for the series to top the original, but it sure has tried over the years. By attempting to increase the number of murders, produce memorable kills, and introduce various plot twists, theScreamwriters consistently try to improve from the last film. However, what many considerthe worstScreammovie in the franchiseisthe one whose Ghostface has the most kills.

Roman Bridger Has The Highest Kill Count In The Scream Franchise
Roman Killed 9 People In Scream 3
As the only Ghostface who worked alone,Roman Bridger murdered more characters than anyone else in theScreamfilm series. He killed nine people in total, includingLiev Schreiber’s Cotton Wearyand Parker Posey’s Jennifer Jolie. Similar to the first two movies, Roman, as Ghostface, murdered two characters duringScream 3’s opening sequence. Then, Roman went on to kill seven more people, bringing his kill count to nine, which has yet to be beaten in the franchise.

Just because Roman has the highest kill count doesn’t mean thatScream 3has the most victims in the film series. However, that’s due to the fact thatRoman was the only Ghostface in the third movie. In actuality,Scream VIhas the highest number of deaths— 13, which includes the three Ghostfaces and doesn’t include Quinn Bailey’s fake kill.
Scream 7 Is Going To Have A Really Tough Time Topping This Ghostface Kill
The highly anticipated seventh installment in the Scream film series has a lot to live up to following one memorable Ghostface kill in Scream 6.
Which Other Characters Have High Kill Counts As Ghostface In The Scream Movies
Charlie Walker Has The Second Most Kills
Charlie Walker came close to beating Roman’s kill count just one movie later. Althoughthere is a lot of debate over which Ghostface murdered whichcharacters inScream 4,Jill Roberts' only confirmed kills are Trevor Sheldon and Charlie. As a result, Charlie likely took care of the other eight victims in the fourth film.

Scream VI
Right on Charlie’s heels is Mickey Altieri fromScream 2. Although Mrs. Loomis was the main antagonist in the sequel, she only killed one person (Randy Meeks), and Mickey murdered the other seven. Next is Wayne Bailey’s kill count of six, which is impressive given thatScream VIhad three Ghostfaces. All in all, Roman has the most kills in theScreamfranchise, but the next Ghostface inScream 7could beat his count.
Scream
Created by Kevin Williamson and originally helmed by Wes Craven, the Scream franchise takes a meta approach to the slasher horror franchise, centering on teenagers well-versed in the genre who find themselves hunted and killed by figures donning the Ghostface mask. The first four movies revolved around Neve Campbell’s Sydney Prescott as she frequently found herself the target of different Ghostface killers, while the fifth and sixth installments introduced new protagonists, sisters Tara and Sam, with their own dark past connected to the original Ghostface killer.
