Based on the teaser trailer, it’s widely believed that the duo are in a complicated romantic relationship that’s made all the more challenging thanks to their criminal adventures, but whether this is the case remains to be seen.

The visual style and the camera placement are meant to emulate the character-swapping animation that plays inGrand Theft Auto 5although whether that feature will be in the sixth game remains unknown.

Unfortunately, that situation doesn’t go too well as she’s quickly seen evading police officers and robbing a store.
It’s worth noting that the timeline in the trailer is still unknown:While many assume Lucia begins the story in prison, that could be a resolution or even a middle point. As for Jason, that name isn’t even accurate since Rockstar has yet to formally reveal the character’s identity. The community simply began calling himJason as a placeholderso there’s a good chance his title will be different in the final release.
Grand Theft Auto 6is still many months away as publisher Take-Two Interactive noted in an earnings call thatit’s looking to release the game in fall 2025. Until then, fans will simply have to turn to quality cosplayers like Jad_jd and _raynhaa to see more of Lucia and “Jason” in action. Alternatively, they could watch the brief teaser on repeat and try to spotevery Easter egg and reference.
