HIGH-END

LUXURY

This was not the first category I got today, mainly because DESIGNER could easily belong with a whole host of words in this puzzle. It took a while for me to parse out what belonged where, but this was the second category I managed to separate out. What helped me do so waslooking at LUXURY and HIGH-END, which in turn led me to HAUTEand eventually back to DESIGNER. While it was difficult, it was not as impossible as it could have felt due to some of the overlapping words in this puzzle.

HATCH

MASTERMIND

Likewise, this was the third category I got, as originally I thought DESIGNER and ENGINEER belonged together, along with MASTERMIND. While I was mostly right, I did have to think about it in a different way to see these as verbs instead of nouns. Once I did, I as able tomake a bigger distinction between these words and similar ones, before adding in CONCOCT and HATCH as the final two additions. DESIGNER was able to be cut due to not being a verb like the rest, which finished off this category.

5 Letter Words Wordle Hasn’t Used Yet (Updated Daily)

Wordle, the popular word-guessing game hosted by The New York Times, has over 1,700 words remaining as possible solutions.

VIKING

VOYAGER

My dad would likely get this one before me, as someone who keeps up with NASA much more than I have and for much longer as well. However, I got this one last mainly due to having words like PIONEER and VOYAGER with ENGINEER and DESIGNER at first. Additionally, GALILEO was a name and I thought it might belong with MARCO POLO in a separate category. While there were no other obvious proper names, I thought it could go with VIKING or VOYAGER to talk about people who were leaders in their fields, but itwas actually about spacecraft.

TAG

UNO

As someone who has played most of these games extensively and knows that UNO ends relationships when it becomes too competitive, I actually got this category first. Itwas UNO that clued me in, before I saw BINGO and remembered playing a lot of MARCO POLO in the pool every summer - which turned out to be way more dangerous than it should have been. TAG was the last but by no means least one added in, mainly because it was hiding among much bigger words.
