The Wheel of Timeseason 3 images have revealed a first look at Morgase, Elaida, and new Aiel characters as the fantasy series continues expanding its world.The Wheel of Timeseason 2 endedwith Rand al’Thor (Joshua Stradowski) revealing to the world he is the Dragon Reborn, while new Forsaken like Moghedien (Laia Costa) have appeared to continue the Dark One’s work. This laid the groundwork for season 3, which will be pulling heavily from Robert Jordan’s fourth book in the series,The Shadow Rising.
Now, Prime Video has released new images fromThe Wheel of Timeseason 3,teasing the appearance of new characters like Morgase (Olivia Williams) and Elaida (Shohreh Aghdashloo), alongside multiple Aiel characters. The images also tease continued stories for other characters like Rand training with Lan (Daniel Henney), reuniting with Matt (Dónal Finn) and Perrin (Marcus Rutherford), and working with the Aiel. However,new dangers are also appearing, with Elaida influenced by her desire for power, something that could cause another threat, like Liandrin (Kate Fleetwood), to rise out of the Aes Sedai. Moghedien’s promise that all the Forsaken have been released is another major clue about the season, with Lanfear’s appearance in the images indicating she’ll be facing the consequences of Ishamael’s (Fares Fares) death.
