Even so, it appears season 7 will be dealing with the dangerous aftermath of what transpired.

What The Rookie’s New Trailer Says About Season 7

More Important Cases For Nolan & The LAPD To Tackle

The Rookieseason 7trailer doesn’t reveal too much about the upcoming episodes, other than the group will be dealing with some dangerous criminals and smaller offenders as usual. However, some areas of intrigue include a body being dug up in a field, alongside Nolan and Juarez seemingly getting involved in a vehicle chase while out on patrol. The trailer also doesn’t feature Dewan’s Bailey, which makes sense, as the actor’s real-life pregnancy will be preventing her from showing up in the first few episodes.

The Rookie: 10 Missing Characters I’d Love To See Return In Season 7

When The Rookie finally returns with season 7 in 2025, the new episodes should bring back a handful of characters who haven’t been seen in a while.

Despite this lack of focus on larger, expected storylines, the new trailer still offersplenty of hints about the everyday struggles the team will be going through heading into season 7. As their smaller attempts at stopping criminals indicate, Monica, Oscar, and Jason are still far-off threats they’ll simply have to keep an eye out for while dealing with more pertinent criminals. Whether thecast ofThe Rookiewill be prepared for the returning antagonists isn’t entirely clear just yet. However, their skills mean they’ll likely be able to weather whatever comes their way.

Our Take On The Rookie Season 7 Trailer

A Strong Return To Form For The Series

Although the newest trailer doesn’t offer any concrete updates on the overarching threats in the show, it does reveal a strong return to form as characters deal with different crimes throughout their day-to-day work. However, it’s clearThe Rookiestill has plenty of long-term stories still left to be told, likely teased once they grow closer to happening. For now, however, it seems the show’s return will include plenty of familiarity before Monica and her two breakouts arrive on the scene.

Despite premiering midseason,The Rookieseason 7 is expected to include a full order of episodes.
