Seth Will Want Revenge After Getting Fired In The Rookie Season 7, Episode 10

This Won’t Be The Last Time Fans See Seth

Lucy has caught Seth in one too many lies, and his latest is the final straw. Melissa O’Neil’sRookiecharactersuspects that her rookie is lying about his cancer coming back in episode 10, “Chaos Agent.” After learning that Seth isn’t seeing his former oncologist and now has a shady doctor vouching for him, Lucy recruits Tim and Grey to help her confront the young police officer.Grey gives Seth an ultimatum — either submit to a blood test to prove he has cancer or get fired.Seth picks the latter, claiming he’s going to sue the LAPD for “medical discrimination.”

Seth will undoubtedly want revenge, and all his anger and blame will be directed towards the person who exposed his lies — his training officer, Lucy.

The Rookie Season 7, Episode 9’s Ending Is A Reminder Of Its Best Pairing That ABC Has Forgotten

The Rookie season 7 finally circles back to one of the ABC police procedural TV show’s best and most important relationships in episode 9.

Lucy’s Former Rookie Will Likely Target Her For His Revenge

Lucy Is The Reason Why Seth’s Lies Got Exposed

AlthoughThe Rookieseason 7, episode 10 could technically serve as Seth’s final appearance, that would be a massive waste of his potential as a villain and wouldn’t make sense, given the circumstances. His return is inevitable for a couple of reasons. Firstly,Grey warning Seth to never return to Mid-Wilshire (or he’ll be arrested) foreshadows this scenario happeningin a futureepisode ofThe Rookie. Plus,The Rookiewriters wouldn’t have spent so much time building Seth’s villain origin story (around an important character like Lucy, nonetheless) just to waste it by ending his arc with a quiet firing.

Since Seth undoubtedly holds Lucy responsible for his dismissal from the LAPD because she uncovered his lies, Seth’s revenge will be targeted toward Lucy. So, fans have every right to be worried about Lucy’s well-being in the episodes to come.It might be a while before Seth shows his face again inThe Rookieseason 7as he has to have time to plot whatever is coming. However, viewers (and Lucy) should be prepared for a Caleb 2.0 situation.

Why Seth Getting Exposed Now Is Better (Even If It Puts Lucy In Harm’s Way)

Seth Was Only Getting More Reckless With Every Episode

While Lucy’s life is in dangerinThe Rookieseason 7, it’s for the best that Seth was fired sooner rather than later. His storyline was being dragged out a bit too much, for starters. So, a development was much needed and appreciated.

On the other hand, Seth was getting more reckless with every episode that passed, and more characters' lives would have been in danger had he stayed on the force any longer past episode 10. Fans also finally have answers andknow for certain that Seth was lying, which establishes his threat level. Now, viewers can only brace for what comes next for Seth inThe Rookieseason 7.
