Marcanthonee Reis starred on9-1-1as Harry Grant for years, but he was replaced in a later season of the show. His breakthrough came with9-1-1whenhe first appeared as Harry Grant in the show’s pilot. The son of Athena (Angela Bassett) and Michael (Rockmond Dunbar), Harry has been a part ofsome of9-1-1’s best episodes.
Harry started off the series as a recurring character before moving to the main cast from seasons 2 through 5, before leaving the series for a season, only to return for season 7, again as part of the recurring cast. He’s a likable and sweet character who has had a lot of obstacles to overcome over the years, including being kidnapped as well as all the drama that came from his father leaving his mother after revealing he was gay. Marcanthonee Reis is certainly notthe first actor to leave9-1-1, but that he was recast is still a bit unusual.
