10Love Sausage
The Strangest Henchman
Love Sausage has one of the most bizarre powers inThe Boys, as the supe wields a giant penis that functions a bit like a tentacle. Interestingly,Love Sausage does not have the same ability inThe Boyscomic as the TV show, as his main ability in the comics was his superhuman physique, and his namesake did not have any special powers. While Love Sausage’s TV show power is often played off as a joke, this comic change does make him more powerful.
Love Sausage was last seen inThe Boysseason 4 ending scene, where he used his enhanced penis to apprehend Mother’s Milk.
Most supes gain some level of durability alongside their powers, so it makes sense that Love Sausage needed an extra ability.His large tentacle-like penis offers comedic value to the show, but it is also an incredibly useful (if somewhat disgusting) tooland the supe is able to take out people such as MM. Therefore, while not necessarily one of the most powerful supes in Homelander’s army, Love Sausage is definitely not the weakest.
9The Deep
The Loyal Supporter
Often treated as a bit of a weak character inThe Boys, The Deep is somewhat underrated. Acting as a parody of the DC superhero, Aquaman, The Deep can breathe underwater and communicate with sea animals. Considering the Earth is mostly made up of water,The Deep is technically quite a powerful character but is hindered by the main action almost always occurring on land. Instead, The Deep has to rely on his super-enhanced physique more than his special abilities.
After making a comeback to The Seven, The Deep has become devoted to Homelander and now kills without hesitation.
The Deep has had an unstable history as one of The Seven, having manipulated Starlight and then briefly taken a sabbatical in a quest for redemption. His insecurities and “weak” mindset would have made hima likely character to die inThe Boysseason5. However, after making a comeback to The Seven, The Deep has become devoted to Homelander and now kills without hesitation.His unwavering loyalty and newfound determination make The Deep a much scarier personalitythan in previous seasons.
8Firecracker
The PR Team
The Boysseason 4 introduced a bunch of new supes with different powers, including the charismatic America-loving Firecracker, who earns Homelander’s trust. In terms of physical power, surprisingly,Firecracker ranks as one of the weakest in Homelander’s army. Despite having superhuman strength and durability, her special ability of spark generation leaves much to be desired, but Firecracker possesses other talents.
While she can hold her own against Starlight and Kimiko, Firecracker’s lack of significant power means she is at a disadvantage in combat against high-level supes. Furthermore, her use of drugs to make her lactate to satisfy Homelander’s Oedipus complex is steadily worsening her health. With a lack of combat skills,Firecracker’s main power instead comes from her charming personality and ability to influence the masses.This ability gained Homelander a lot of support in season 4 and helped him gain his newfound government powers, making her a powerful member of Homelander’s army in a different way.
7Cate Dunlap
The Manipulator
As one of the main antagonists inThe Boysspinoff series,Gen V, Cate Dunlap quickly caught the attention of Homelander. Despite presenting herself as a kind person,Cate harbors a lot of hate for human parents who allowed Vought to give their children powers for profit. She is definitely a deeply flawed individual, and Cate’s powers of influencing people via touch don’t help. After being recruited by Homelander following an anti-human rampage,Cate made her first appearance inThe Boysseason 4 finalewhere she controls Frenchie, forcing him to enter a Vought Security van.
Cate Dunlap’s Abilities
Cate’s abilities make her a powerful supe in Homelander’s army as she is able to get people to do whatever she wants as well as manipulate memories. This makes Cate a useful supe to have in a stealth situation, and considering she is still quite young, her abilities may only get better. Unfortunately,Cate’s powers are limited in their activation, requiring physical touch,and their excessive usage causes seizures and eye bleeding, she recently lost her hand inGen V.
6Black Noir II
The Method Actor
After the originalBlack Noir was killed by Homelander inThe Boysseason 3, Vought hired a supe actor to cover up his death. First appearing in “Department of Dirty Tricks,”the new Black Noir is markedly different from his predecessor as he is very talkativeabout his struggles to understand “the role.” In contrast, the original Black Noir was mute as a result of his injuries.
Both versions of Black Noir are played by Nathan Mitchell.
Another major difference with Black Noir II is that he secretly can fly, as well as an increased invulnerability to bullets. 4Cindy
The Telekinetic
Serving as the main antagonist inThe Boysseason 2, episode 6, “The Bloody Doors Off,” Cindy was an interesting and rather powerful character. When her cell at the Sage Grove Center was broken open,Cindy used her telekinesis to destroy everyone’s cell doors, freeing the other patients. After being briefly knocked unconscious by Stormfront, Cindy was later seen hitchhiking on a road, and she was not seen again for a while.

However,The Boysseason 4 featured the return of Cindy, who has now joined Homelander’s army. When Annie and Hughie are attempting to flee the country, Cindy drops a ship in the middle of the road, blocking their escape. While Hughie is abducted, Cindy tries to kill Annie, but she escapes.Having the typical superhuman abilities already makes Cindy an impressive supe, but the addition of telekinesis with a seemingly unlimited weight restriction means Cindy will be one to watch in season 5.
3Sister Sage
The Brains
Although Homelander has the brawn to accomplish his goals, to truly succeed, he realizes he needs someone with brains. Homelander recruitedSister Sage inThe Boysseason 4 to help him planhis takeover because she is known for being the smartest person on the planet who also has a resentment of humans. According to Sister Sage, her knowledge has often been overlooked in the past, causing the death of her grandmother, andSister Sage could potentially cure cancer and world hunger, but she claims that “humans are animals.”
Sister Sage was able to deduce Homelander had an enlarged prostate by observing his clean hands, and she discovered the cure for Stage 3 chronic lymphocytic leukemia in three days when she was a child.
Sister Sage was an important ally for Homelander in season 4, as she was able to successfully create tension between Starlight fans and help Homelander reach his desired position of power. Her incredible observation skills and knowledge of advanced areas allow her to pick up the slightest details and calculate an outcome, meaning she will continue to be crucial to Homelander’s plans in season 5.
