In an interview withTVLineto discuss his slate of projects, including theYellowstonespinoffThe Madisonand his guest spot in the Fox crime dramaAccused, Adams was asked about reuniting with Macht for the T-Mobile ads. In the quote below, the actor reflects on working with his formerSuitsscene partner andexpresses a desire to collaborate once again:
Oh my God, yeah. What was wild to me was how quickly we put not just the suits back on, but the characters, too. The director, Brian Klugman, has been a good friend of Gabriel’s forever, so it was just so easy and funny, and we slid right back into the same routine. I was worried when we first decided to do that, like, “Oh man, it’s been a long time. Are we going to be reaching for it? Is it going to be hard?” And it wasn’t. The minute we saw each other, we were ribbing each other and getting into it. We were so lucky on that show, we were lucky to get another opportunity to do it again.

Well, both of you looked like not a day has gone by.
Thank you. I appreciate that. [Joking]Helooks a little bit older, a little rougher around the edges…. No, it was instantaneous and fun, and it made me hope that one day maybe we get to do it again. We’ll see.

What Adams' Comments Mean For A Suits Reunion
The Actor Wants To Reprise His Role
Despite his busy schedule, which also includes the upcoming Netflix seriesLockerbie,Adams has maintained an openness to reprising the role of Mike Rossin theupcomingSuits L.A.spinoff. Set to debut on NBC, withArrowactor Stephen Amell in the lead role, the spinoff hails from originalSuitscreator Aaron Korsh. Even though the story is focused on a different law firm and a different group of characters, it exists in the same universe as the original series.
Suits L.A.does not currently have a premiere date announced.
Adams co-hosts aSuitsrewatch podcast with Sarah Rafferty, who played Donna Paulsen. Although a lot aboutan on-screen reunion likely depends on the success of the forthcoming spinoff, it’s clear that the actors are enjoying the opportunity to revisit their important roles and that may make it easier for the spinoff to facilitate aSuitsreunion.
Our Take On The Adams & Macht Reunion
It’s A Great Success Story
It is rare for a show to succeed on streaming to the point where, years after the series concluded, a spinoff is commissioned and there’s consistent talk of a reunion. In that sense, it is great to seeSuitscastlike Adams, Macht, and Rafferty get a chance to take a victory lap for a legal dramedy that was always popular for its light touch but never to such an overwhelming degree. While it’s unknown if the pair will reunite on the spinoff, or in other future projects, it’s something fans ofSuitswould want to see.
