Star Trek Is Ready to End One of Its Best Eras In History, So What’s Next?

A golden era of Star Trek history is coming to an end, as IDW is bringing to a conclusion their epic, two-and-a- comic book story, but what is next?

In the preview pages, the pair are together on an alien world, where the denizens of an alien marketplace become the target of their collaborative grift, which involves Rassmussen pretending to get violently ill with “Worf disease,” which Vondect – hilariously role-playing as “Doctor B’Elanna O’Brien-Sisko-Picard” – then steps in and cures, claiming to be “an expert immunologist, virologist, and galactic 3D chess champion.” Having demonstrated both the deadliness of this disease, and how easily cured it is, Vondect offers to innoculate the entire alien settlement for “a small fee.”
