Months after a troubled initial launch,STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobylis continuing to receive patches that introduce major fixes and improvements to the game. Following up onSTALKER 2’s first major patch, which made significant improvements to the game’s A-Life system,Patch 1.2 continues to work on the mechanic, fixing A-Life NPC interactions with corpses and their ability to heal other NPCs, while also fixing some issues where the system could spawn corpses or NPCs at unintended areas or times. Outside A-Life, several improvements have been made to NPC accuracy, targeting, and spawn patterns, which should reduce some of the game’s frustration factor.
