Aniplex recently shared a new trailer forSolo Leveling -ReAwakening-which is set torelease in theaters on June 04, 2025. The new trailer features various exciting moments from season 1, such as Jinwoo’s final moments in the Double Dungeon, and his fights against Kasaka, Cerberus, Hwang Dongsuk, and Igris. That said, the most exciting part of the trailer is easily the sneak peek at the first two episodes of season 2, whose episode titles have finally been revealed as “You Aren’t E-Rank, Are You?” and “I Suppose You Aren’t Aware.”
Fans Get Another Glimpse at the Battles and Developments To Come
Withseason 2 expected to kick off the Red Gate Arcof the story,Solo Leveling -ReAwakening-will be the first time fans get to see Jinwoo put his newly obtained necromancer powers in battle. As great as season 1 ofSolo Levelingwas, the animeended just before the story could truly take offwith the best moments of the series yet to come.
Fortunately,Solo Leveling -ReAwakening-gives fans the chance to experience Jinwoo’s new powers on the big screen, that too a whole month before the release of season 2. Judging by the episode titles, the first episode of season 2 will coverJinwoo meeting Jinah’s friend Han Song-yi, entering the red gate, and meeting the ice elves and splitting up into a separate group from Kim Chul. The title of the episode itself is a quote by one of the White Tiger Guild hunters present named Park Hee-jin who also makes a momentary appearance in the new trailer.
As for the second episode, its title is a direct quote by the Frost Monarch, whose fight with Jinwoo is also teased in the trailer. Keen-eyed fans may also notice a few new additions to Jinwoo’s shadow soldiers, including giant polar bears and the lovable yet simple-minded Iron. These two episodes will likelywrap up the entirety of the Red Gate Arcand the battle between Jinwoo’s newly formed Shadow Army and the ice elves. As such, the film will likely also set up the intrigue for the rest of the upcoming season with the Frost Monarch’s cryptic message to Jinwoo.
Solo Leveling -Reawakening- Will Be an Excellent Refresher on the Series
Overall, though a majority of-ReAwakening-will be a compilation of season 1, the film is still a must-watch for any fans of the series. Season 1 is full of great moments and re-watching these in theatres us sure to be a unique, surreal experience. More than anything,Solo Leveling -ReAwakening-is an excellent way to catch up on the events of the anime so far before the release of season 2.
