Console command cheats are phrases you can use inThe Elder Scrolls V: Skyrimto change aspects of your game. From automatically making your character level up to putting an item directly into your inventory, there are many cheats with broad purposes. Those looking to skip the grind of a normal playthrough may want to use console cheats to alter parts of this iconic RPG to their favor.
Unfortunately, console command cheats are only applicable on PC. While theLegendary Edition allows modsand other officially licensed game changes from developer Bethesda, these are incredibly specific compared to cheats. While mods have a direct change, console commands allow you to customize your experience directly without having to download any additional content modifications.

How To Use Console Command Cheats In Skyrim
Activate Different Codes At Your Own Risk
Any cheat you want to use can be activated when youpress the"~“key on your PCto bring up the console commands menu. This should appear as a small text box covered by a darkening of the lower half of your screen. You should be able to see a list of past console commands here, and a warning saying that some cheats will disable your character from earning any achievements inSkyrim.
Immediately, you can enter the"help"console command to bring up the full list of possible cheats you can use. This will allow you to pick and choose which alterations you want to make or which quick manipulations of the game’s systems you want to abuse. However, you shouldenable only one set of console command cheats at a time, as turning on too many can cause your game to have issues.

Having multiple console command cheats enabled at once can cause a variety of problems, including:
Anyone looking to activate a cheat should always make a save right before they do so. That way, if anything were to go wrong, you would easily be able to reload back to a spot where you didn’t use a console command. Once you have a console command cheat entered from the right menu, all you need to do is press"Enter"to activate it and start changing the game to whatever you desire.
