The mod wants to do more than just some cosmetic upgrades, focusing instead on completely overhauling theStarfieldplanet.
The mod’s creator, questionthis, has confirmed on Reddit thatsandworms are coming to theStarfieldmod in a future update. The iconicDunemegafauna is based on the vanilla game’s Larva creature and isn’t quite ready to be deployed in the mod yet: “They’re super clunky right now and about 50% of their attacks are silly looking.”

Once all the bugs are ironed out, the mod will pit players against the giant enemies, who will have the ability to chase the player and burrow under the sand. Sandworms on Arrakis inDuneare known to be attracted by rhythmic sounds, swallowing anything caught on open sand in worm territory.
