McElhenney starts by chatting about his virtual experience at the game, ashe feels the venue offers something special for sports fans.“It’s my first time watching a full match at Cosm, and the hype is real,“the actor shares.“There’s just such a real desire and need to be with people, especially watching sporting events, and if you can’t fly all the way to Wrexham, Wales, then this is the next best option.”
He continues on to explain how the collaboration between Wrexham and Cosm came about.“Honestly, the first time I had ever heard of Cosm was on Instagram,“McElhenney admits.“I saw that they were open, and then I talked to a few people who were on our crew and in our cast who had been to a couple of baseball games and a couple of NFL games, and they just could not stop talking about it.“It was eventually McElhenney’s team at More Better Industries who reached out to Cosm, and a partnership was born.

I don’t know. We’ll see. We never say never. We’re all so super busy right now, but we love the podcast, and we love recording it. We love the show, obviously. We just finished season 17, or actually, [December 4] is our last day of production on season 17. And then we’re wrapped.
There hasn’t been too much news onIt’s Always Sunny in Philadelphiaseason 17, but a crossover betweenthe sitcom and ABC’sAbbott Elementarywas confirmed in October when McElhenney posted aphotoof both casts on set together on Instagram. When asked about the highly anticipated episode, he shares,“The Abbott Elementary crossover will be in January, and then another Abbott Elementary episode for Sunny [will be] sometime in the spring or summer.“Additionally,Mythic Questseason 4 returns on January 29, whichMcElhenney promises will be “very eventful” for fans of the show.
