Amazon Prime Video’sPicture Thisis an exciting rom-com with a great cast. While there have been somegood rom-coms in recent years, only a handful of them have experienced the level of success of their 1990s and 2000s counterparts.Picture Thisis a reminder of how fun this genre can be. Arguably one of thebest movies on Prime Video right now, and it would be great to see more heartfelt and funny rom-coms like it in the future.
Picture Thisfollows a young woman named Pia, a struggling photographer who attends her sister’s wedding, where a spiritual guru informs her that she will fall in love within her next five dates. While feeling the pressure from her family to begin a relationship, Pia attempts to find her own path and partner, but along the way, an ex from her past reemerges and throws everything that Pia knew into question. Luckily, along with its very entertaining and cute plot,Picture Thishas a stellar cast to back it up that audiences will certainly recognize from their other roles.
