They’re both critically acclaimed in their own countries and share some of the same producers. Patience Also Resembles Annie, The Puritan Ghost
Within the maincast ofGhosts,Mary is Patience’s counterpart from the UK series. Patience flips many of Mary’s qualities in the US series. Namely,Patience is a Puritan ghost who accused others in her community of witchcraft, whereas Mary is the unfortunate accused. The BBC series technically has its own Puritan ghost, a strict Protestant named Annie who dies at Button House after choking on a piece of bread, but Annie just exists in a flashback and isn’t a part of the main cast. That said, many convincing similarities arise between Mary and Patience.
Both Patience and Mary have a robust fear of the devil, worsened by the modern-day technology introduced by Alison and Mike, or Sam and Jay, which Mary and Patience both chalk up to witchcraft.

Patience’s Fate Could Match These BBC Ghosts
Some similarities are a significant element of theGhostsseries. Thor and Robin can both manipulate electricity since they died by getting struck by lightning. Pete and Pat’s wives cheated. Patience’s story could take a note from her UK counterpart, and it would be an excellent way forGhostsseason 4 to fix the series. Whether you consider Mary or Annie her counterpart, Patience’s fate is the same.Both the ghosts from the UK series are essentially sucked off in season 4, with Annie moving on in a flashback. Patience could have a similar fate in CBSGhostsseason 4.
