What Happened In One Piece Episode #1117?
Produced By Toei Animation; Directed By Tasuku Shimaya
One Pieceepisode #1117, “Sabo Returns - The Shocking Truth to Be Told!,” opened with Sabo, Ivankov, and Dragon talking about how Sabo not only accomplished his goals of freeing Kuma and disrupting the livelihoods of the Celestial Dragons, but also sparked successful revolutions in eight kingdoms following Cobra’s death. Sabo regretted Cobra’s death, even if he wasn’t the one who killed him, but even so,Sabo was okay with Cobra’s death if it meant it would further the goals ofthe Revolutionary Army. Nevertheless, Dragon and Ivankov still needed answers, so Sabo began discussing what happened at the Levely.
As mentioned in previous episodes, the Revolutionary Army attacked Mary Geoise during the Levely and split their time between freeing slaves and cutting off the Celestial Dragons’ food supplies. During the assault, Karasu and Morley fought against Fujitora and Ryokugyu, and while they were outmatched, the Admirals’ obligation to protect Mary Geoise and the Celestial Dragons put them at a disadvantage. As that was happening,Saint Charlos planned to use Kuma in another attempt at enslaving Shirahoshi, and Sabo and Bonney made separate efforts to free Kuma before that could happen.

As Mary Geoise became increasingly chaotic, CP0 attempted to put Vivi under protective custody, but Vivi refused to go with them due to how they did nothing when Shirahoshi was attacked earlier. At the same time,Nefertari Cobra left for a private meeting with the Five Elders, and while Chaka and Pell couldn’t join Cobra to aid him in his failing health, Cobra was fine with going alone because whatever he wanted to speak to the Five Elders about was just that important.
One Piece Sets Up The Final Villains Of Its Story
When Dragon spoke about how they can’t expect the World Government to take what Sabo did lying down, Dragon said that their true battle will start when they mobilizethe Holy Knights, a mysterious group implied to be the elite forces of the Celestial Dragons, meaning thatthe Holy Knights will be some of the final villains the heroes ofOne Piecehave to deal with. If the Holy Knights are even comparable to the Admirals, then they’re sure to be a force to be reckoned with, and it will be great to eventually see them make a proper appearance.
One Piece Begins Answering Its Biggest Mystery In Style
The events of the Levely have been a major mystery for years, andOne Pieceepisode #1117 has started answering them in truly stylish fashion. From a story perspective,One Pieceepisode #1117 excellently builds up the tension of what happened at the Levelywith how much it emphasizes how shakenOne Piece’s Sabois by what he dealt with and how obviously dangerous Cobra’s meeting with the Five Elders is set up to be. This is a story set to be filled with drama and major reveals, and overall, a lot is being done to go along with that.
Some of the more cosmetic details of episode #1117 also did a lot to sell its quality.
