One PieceChapter #1144 will be a significant installment, set to reveal more of Loki’s perspective regarding his portrayal as the “villain” of Elbaph, the one accused of killing the land of the giants’ king, Harold. The narrative of Loki as the villain, repeatedly recited by Elbaph’s residents, had at some point begun to feel forced, hinting that Loki may not be the villain he was made out to be. Considering how Luffy has never approached true villains in a friendly manner, it strongly suggests that Loki was never the enemy people believed him to be, as Luffy has an exceptional sense of judging character.

It will be interesting to see how the upcomingchapter presents Loki’s story, possibly revealing him as a good guy, and perhaps even a hidden hero of Elbaph. Meanwhile, the tension will be significantly high as the giants rush to secure the children headed toward the God’s Knights’ traps. Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait long, asOne PieceChapter #1144 will be released without any breaks.

Loki Shares His Side, as God’s Knights’ Plan to Abduct the Children Reaches a New Level

One PieceChapter #1143, titled “Holy Knights,” continues with the monster emerging from the forest as the children march forward in a single direction. Despite warnings from the others, Saul attempts to stop the children by touching them. However, he is struck by an invisible barrier of thorns surrounding them, leaving him heavily injured. As the giants struggle to figure out how to stop the children, they contact others in the western village.

Though most barely grasp the situation due to being too drunk from partying, a group of giants aboard a flying ship rushes toward the area that has caught fire. However, they are stopped by one of the giants' monsters, shocking everyone in the Western Village. The narrative then shifts to God’s Knights, where it is revealed that Summers is responsible for the barrier of thorns surrounding the children, thanks to his Thorn-Thorn Fruit ability.

Meanwhile, it is also confirmed that Killingham is behind the monsters, as he canmaterialize thoughts from other people’s dreamsthrough the power of his mythical devil fruit, the Dragon-Dragon Fruit Mythical Type: Model Kirin. While the God’s Knights celebrate their success, Gunko warns them to stay cautious, aware that Emperor Straw Hat is also on the island. Speaking of which, the chapter then shows Loki continuing to threaten others in an attempt to escape.

As Chaos Ensues, Loki May Have His Moment of Revelation

One PieceChapter #1144, before diving intoLoki’s portrayal, may continue to focus on the chaos surrounding the children. At this point, there seems to be no clear way for the giants to stop them, which might lead to the giants coming up with a plan to effectively halt the children’s march. April Is Going to Be a Great Month For One Piece Fans

One Piece’s anime has been on hiatus for about half a year now, and with its upcoming return in April 2025, there’s plenty to be excited about.

However, given that Gunko fears Nika the most, she may attempt to fight Luffy with the other God’s Knights to stop him, believing that killing Luffy would be the ultimate form of justice. The chapter will undoubtedly continue to develop more of Elbaph’s lore. With Loki’s latest remarks, fans may get to see more of his side of the story, possibly through a flashback during the events of Harold’s death. If this flashback takes place and reveals Loki as a good person,One PieceChapter #1144 might then hint at Elbaph’s true villain, exposing the true cause of Harold’s death.
