It’s been teased many times, butit doesn’t look like DC is going to be giving fans a Nightwing and Batgirl weddingin the near future. Tom Taylor and Daniele Di Nicuolo even trolled fans inNightwing#98 by having Nite-Mite tease a sudden wedding between the two. In the modern continuity, Nightwing has enough on his hands with becoming aleader on par with Batman, and in another universe, Batgirl has fashioned herselfQueen of the Vampires. If fans want to believe in real love, they might have to look up from the page - and into the real world of DC cosplayers.

Kenzie Rae, otherwise known on Instagram astexthemess, has a long history of cosplaying DC characters, and she has been getting some help with the costumes from her partner and now fiancé, zack_attack_cosplay. They have been working together for some time and dating for just as long. It’s almost likefans can imagine Nightwing and Batgirl helping each other upgrade their own suits. Of course, Nightwing sows Batgirl’s suits - Kenzie and Zack have practically made that canon.
