We’ve got massive set pieces in each episode, and the stories are more intricate. We found our feet with our characters, [and] the actors really understand their characters now. When I was coming back, I was excited to start shooting again because I knew we had great stories to tell.
You never know what the audience is going to react to, or like, or dislike, or whatever. And then once the show did go on air [and] we were re-commissioned so quickly, it did feel like a complete whirlwind. Everyone was delighted! So, naturally, returning to set for Season 2 felt like a big reunion for the cast and crew, as it had been two years since they’d filmed Season 1. Everyone was chomping at the bit.
Nikki Rodriguez, who plays Jackie, reminisced on her experience during the final week, saying, “It’s so weird because it doesn’t feel like it’s the last few days.”Rodriguez also talked about where her character is headed in the upcoming season. In her own words:
