Freedom To Play How You Want

Alongsidechanges to Diamond Dynasty,MLB The Show 25is making big changes to Road to the Show with a brand-new progression system. This update gives players more control over how their athlete improves throughout their career. Players will have more freedom than ever before to shape their strengths and focus on what truly matters to them, be it power, speed, or defense.

MLB The Show 25: All New & Returning Legends

MLB The Show 25 has announced over 20 new Legends, and almost 200 from previous games are expected to return. Here’s who’s on the roster.

The biggest change is the introduction of tokens. Instead of stats improving automatically through gameplay, players will earn tokens by completing goals and challenges. These tokens can be used to upgrade specific attributes or groups of skills, allowing players to customize their development. Perks are also getting an upgrade. Players can now unlock and improve perks using tokens, making matching perks to their preferred playstyle easier. Perks that are unlocked will remain unlocked, too. Equipment will still help boost stats, but the new system adds more ways to fine-tune a player’s abilities.
