Whenever you play Storm, you’ll notice alarge AoE around her at all timesindicated by a circle of wind.This is the range of Storm’s control over the weather, which gets smaller and smaller the higher in the air you climb. An indicator in the middle of your screen tells you how many allies are within this range in blue, while all enemies are counted in red within the same aura.

How To Use Storm’s Ultimate
Take Time To Unleash Nature’s Wrath
Omega Hurricane is a strong Ultimate, butit takes time to charge up before you can use it. Storm takes a few seconds to gather the surrounding weather before disappearing from the battlefield whenever you activate this Ultimate. Enemy teams that are paying attention have an opportunity to eliminate you before Storm can disappear, making this Ultimate risky to use out in the open.
You need touse this Ultimate when you’re in a place of safety, whether it’s behind a building on the map or within the protection of aVanguard inMarvel Rivals. Once you manage to fully charge Storm’s Ultimate, you vanish from the battlefield, preventing you from being harmed. While this charge-up is happening, you can get stunned or interrupted, so ensure you activate the Ultimate far enough away from enemies.
Activating the Ultimate fully will create a large AoE circle that depicts the range of the impending hurricane. You can zoom out to adjust your view during the few seconds you have before this Ultimate activates automatically.Try to find a space where the aura hits the most enemies, then confirm the radius to appear on the map again as a deadly force of nature.
During Storm’s Ultimate, you gain 450 Bonus Health, preventing most enemies from being able to eliminate you while the maneuver continues. This Ultimate draws enemies in, but most will be too concerned with escaping before targeting you.
Storm’s Ultimate doesn’t deal damage right away, but instead applies large bursts of damage to enemies caught within the gale for too long.Go after enemies on low health or those on their ownto make the most of the movement you have during this Ultimate. This technique is perfect for scoring eliminations and disrupting chokepoints, but it can be countered by powerful Ultimates that heal allies fast.

Stay Close To Your Team
Unlike Iron Man,Storm does not want to use her flight to be an elusive target in the air. Instead, you shouldstay close to your team as Storm, to both give them different buffs and to stay close enough to enemies to apply debuffs and damage. The more allies and enemies you can fit into Storm’s weather aura, the more chances you’ll have to use Thunder and Tornado effects on both target groups.
Storm is an excellent character tostay behind Vanguards on your team, as it gives her some protection. Since Storm can pierce through enemy barriers, she is at her best when she can score quick eliminations on enemies trying to find protection behind some form of shield. Picking off an enemy Strategist who tried to hide behind a Doctor Strange shield can dismantle an enemy team’s support.
Which X-Men character do you most want to see in Marvel Rivals?
Currently, Marvel Rivals has Wolverine, Storm, Magneto, Psylocke, Magik, and Namor as playable mutant characters, though more are rumored to be coming soon. If I could only pick one X-Men character I’d want added to the game, I would have to pick Nightcrawler. His teleportation could be a really cool gameplay feature, especially if he has his two swords. That said, Gambit would be awesome as well.
