Warning! This article contains SPOILERS for Agatha All Along episodes 1 & 2Many saw the introduction of a new character inAgatha All Alongas the leading hint that Scarlet Witch would make herMCUreturn, but the first two episodes have already put this theory on hold. Wanda’s last MCUappearance was inDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which ended with her sacrificing herself to destroy the Darkhold. She has since beenconfirmed dead by Marvelin several projects. However, the way her death played out felt largely unsatisfying and underwhelming for many, so some have been holding out hope that she will make a return somehow.

WithAgatha All Alongbeing a spin-off ofWandaVision, the series seems like the natural place for the MCU to revive the Scarlet Witch. Wanda has already played a key role in the show as the mysterious appearance of her corpse helps remind Agatha of her true past. The theory of her revival has only been intensified bythe introduction of Joe Locke’s Teen, who is largely assumed to be a variant of Billy Maximoff. However, the motives that Teen revealed in episode 2 don’t line up with Wanda’s resurrection and may have already killed the theory.

Teen’s Desire For Power Kills 1 Scarlet Witch Return Theory

BeforeAgatha All Alongpremiered, one of the most popular theories was thatTeen is actually Wanda’s sonand that he wants to walk the Witches’ Road for his mother’s sake. The Witches’ Road is a dangerous series of magical gauntlets and trials. If the individual can survive the journey, then they are given the thing that they truly desire. Many fans believed that Teen’s deepest desire was to bring his mother back to life, which is why he seeks out the help of Agatha and her coven.

InAgatha All Alongepisode 2, Teen does recruit Agatha to help him on his journey as she has supposedly faced the Witches’ Road before. However, he tells Agatha thathis reason for walking the Witches’ Road is so that he can gain power. Although he is knowledgeable from being dedicated to studying witchcraft, he wants the power to back it up. If all Teen wants from the Witches’ Road is a simple power boost, then it largely kills the theory that he intends to resurrect Scarlet Witch.

How Teen Could Still Be Connected To Scarlet Witch’s MCU Return

The Scarlet Witch theory is dead based on what Teen has said, but his motives perhaps shouldn’t be taken at face value. There’s a chance that he’s lying to Agatha and that his true intention is to resurrect Wanda, but he’s just willing to say whatever it takes to get the powerful witch on his side. Agatha obviously wouldn’t want to journey with Teen if she knew that he intended to resurrect the witch who imprisoned her and took her powers.

Is Scarlet Witch Really Dead? & 8 Other Burning Questions From Agatha All Along

Following in the footsteps of its predecessor WandaVision, the new Marvel series Agatha All Along poses a number of important questions and mysteries.

Teen could also just be leaving some details out in front of Agatha. Perhaps his intent on the Witches’ Road is truly toget a power boost that he can then use to bring back Wanda. Agatha can’t hear certain details about Teen, so he might’ve even already alluded to the fact that he wants to bring back a loved one, but Agatha just doesn’t know it yet. As Teen’s current motive stands,Agatha All Alongviewers shouldn’t put too much expectations on Wanda’s MCU return. However, there is still some hope for the Scarlet Witch down the line.
