Screen Rant: What was the most important thing you were looking for in a partner?

Juan: The biggest thing I was looking for in a spouse is someone that I could share many things in common such as culture, work ethic, family, and a dedication to self-improvement.
Screen Rant: What are three words you’d use to describe your Married At First Sight experience?
Karla: Easy breezy, enlightening, and positive.
Juan: Fun, exciting, and growth.
Screen Rant: How has your outlook on MAFS changed since you’ve been part of the show?
Karla: My outlook is positive. The experience was entertaining and real.
Juan: Since I had never watched the show, I went in with minimal expectations, so I didn’t really have an opinion on the process. I wanted to be my most authentic self throughout the experience, so I decided not to watch any episodes prior so as to not form any kind of opinions or premeditated behaviors based on past participants. Screen Rant: Is there anything you would change from what you were looking for a partner before you were matched up on MAFS?
Karla: There are no changes in wants in a partner.
Juan: I don’t think I would change anything. I think the experts matched us for a reason, and I feel like I’m thankful for my experience. I would never ask God to change anything about how my life has played out, and I wouldn’t change anything about myMAFSexperience.
Screen Rant: What’s one answer you gave that you think led the experts to match you with your MAFS spouse? Would you change that answer now?
Karla: I think our love for family and dancing were the reasons for our match, which I definitely agree with.
