10 European and 7 Pacific teams will have tons of LoL matches in their regions — to eventually get spots in local Finals and the World Championship.
Soon after the MSI 2024, League of Legends esports teams returned to the regional competition. Some plan to have another try on the international scene — at the LoL World Championship 2024. Others dream of a breakthrough at the LoL Summer Split 2024 to, at least, earn a spot at the Regional Finals.
LEC Summer 2024 and PCS Summer 2024 start on the same day, June 8. The Regular seasons continue until June 30 for LEC and up to July 14 for PCS. In this post on esports.gg, you’ll find their brief preview, a detailed schedule of matches, info on the stream — and eventually, the results.

It is difficult for European teams to reach the top 1 placement in the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC).G2 Esportsplayers have been dominating the scene for quite a while. May the Summer 2024 split break this? G2 got the first LEC seed at the Mid-Season Invitational 2024, and they have reached the lower brackets semifinal.
It’s a fight to remain alive in the tournament.

Fnaticfinished 2nd at LEC Spring 2024. They played at the MSI 2024 quite well, especially during Play-In — Humanoid and Jun are among the MVPs of this stage. Still, the Brackets matches did not go well for the team. Fnatic lost to the future champions,Gen.G, and then was eliminated by Team Liquid.

The Pacific region is minor in the League of Legends esports scene. Only one/two teams from the Pacific Championship Series (PCS) proceed to big international tournaments: MSI and Worlds.
PSG Talonwon the PCS Spring Playoffs 2024 and qualified for the MSI 2024 Play-In. The team fell to the lower brackets after the very first match vs the NA team FlyQuest. But then, PSG Talon surprised the League of Legends community with their remarkable performance: the Hong Kong team eliminated two seemingly stronger opponents (including FluQuest) and qualified for the Brackets Stage.
PSG Talon looked surprisingly well in the match vs BLG. But then, the team lost to G2 esports and left the MSI 2024. It will be interesting to follow PSG Talon during their local championship.
