Bethesda justreleased a new patch forStarfield, which fixes many lingering issues and addsa slick new ride. While the developer’s post-launch support for the sprawling RPG may have been a bit slow out of the gate it’s managed to pick up the pace in 2024 by releasing several updates that have tweaked some frustrating settings andincluded great quality-of-life improvements. The latest update is no exception butBethesda has gone one step further by giving everyone access to a couple of exciting free Creations.

What Else Is New In Starfield’s November Patch?
A Festive New Quest
MostStarfieldplayers would simply be happy to climb into the driver’s seat of the Deimog but Bethesda wants to celebrate the game a little more. It’s released another free Creation in the form of The Perfect Recipe, a quest that takes users througha “heartwarming journey” in Akila City. A character-driven questline, The Perfect Recipe sees players tracking down a mechanic who once had aspirations to be a galaxy-renowned chef and helping him find his love for food and cooking once again.
Overall the November update forStarfieldisn’t massive but it does serve as a good reminder that Bethesda isn’t yet done with the game. The various fixes and improvements will hopefully go a long way to keeping the community satisfied, especially on Xbox Series X. Given that the studio has confirmed that it has even more in mind, one has to hope thatStarfieldredeems itself in 2025.

Starfield’s Creations Are Cool But Weirdly Implemented
Why Do They Have To Be Separate?
I’m pleased thatStarfieldis still gaining new content but the way the new buggy and quest have been implemented is strange. It seems like making these new features available to everyone by simply putting them into the game would be simpler thanforcing users to go to the Creations menu to download them separately. Bethesda wants topush the Creation store for playerswanting more from the game, but it feels a little odd when it comes to a scheduled update.
