Whittaker made her debut as the Thirteenth Doctor in 2017, leading the series for three seasons and five specials as the first female incarnation of the Doctor.Whittaker left the series in 2022,regenerating in the final moments of “The Power of the Doctor” after foiling an alliance between three of her foes.
As reported byDeadline, Whittaker is set tolead the upcoming six-part ITV crime thrillerFrauds. Whittaker will portray Sam, a retired thief lying low in a remote home in Spain.
