WhileInvinciblecan be read as a sincere superhero show, it does have a lot of comedy throughout its three seasons, and these fiveInvinciblerunning gags make me laugh every time.Invinciblehas some hilarious moments, with many of the wacky side characters and clashing personalities leading to some incredibly funny moments. However,Invinciblealso utilizes some incredible running gagsthat are present in many episodes from throughout the show’s three seasons, and these five are the absolute funniest.
Invinciblehas finally wrapped up season 3, with the epic finale featuring Mark as he faces off against themost dangerous Viltrumite yet: Conquest.Invincibleseason 3 has been Mark’s darkest period throughout the show, something that is reflected in his new blue suit. Mark has gone through a variety of personal losses as he faced the Invincible War, Conquest, and a variety of other villains, with Invincible being sent down a dark path. Despite this,Invincibleseason 3 managed to keep a lot of the show’s running gags going, leading to some hilarious moments.

5The “Invincible” Title Card Gag
Invincible’s Most Iconic Gag
Of all ofInvincible’s running gags, the title card gag is the most iconic. In every episode ofInvincibleso far, the title card has been promptedby a character saying Mark Grayson’s superhero name, with the title card taking the place of the word before the scene continues. Invincible’s 10 Best Episodes (So Far)
Invincible has been a consistently quality series ever since it premiered in 2021, but these ten episodes manage to just beat out the others.
What makes theInvincibletitle card gagso unique is that it can also be used in more serious moments. The darker episodes ofInvinciblehave been able to pull off the title card gag in a serious way, without it distracting from the intensity of the episode. However, the more lighthearted episodes are also able to use the gag for some great comedic moments. Since theInvinciblecomics don’t have title cards, this gag is unique to the show, with it being one of the Amazon Prime Video series' most iconic traits.

4Doc Seismic Being A Terrible Villain
He Is One Of Invincible’s Goofiest Antagonists
Despite being unimportant to the overall story,Doc Seismic is one ofInvincible’s most frequently recurring villains. Doc Seismic is constantly made fun of for being terrible, with the superheroes making fun of Doc Seismic’s stereotypical mad scientist shtick and his subterranean-themed plans. Doc Seismic has appeared in every season ofInvincibleso far, and while he wasn’t taken seriously in the first two seasons, his return in season 3 showed that he was an actual threat. This made for a perfect punchline, with it being the best way thatInvinciblecould have handled Doc Seismic.
3Elephant Being Used As A Punching Bag
By Mark & Oliver
Elephant is one ofInvincible’s goofiest villains, with him being a super strong brute who dresses up like an elephant and commits crimes. InInvincibleseason 1,Omni-Man let Mark fight Elephant, with him being used as a training tool. Mark pulled off the same trick in season 3 by using Elephant to train Oliver, something that Elephant caught on to. Elephant realizing that he is not taken seriously as a threat is a sad yet hilarious moment inInvincible, with him being the lowest-level villain that exists in theInvincibleuniverse.
2The Voiceover Whenever Mark Is Having Sex
& Sometimes When It Is Allen
Invincibleseason 2 started a hilarious gag, withPaul F. Tompkins having a cameo inInvincibleas an unseen narrator. This gag started when Mark began having sex in a season 2 episode, with the camera leaving and the narrator explaining that the show is giving him some private time. The episode then switched to focusing on Allen the Alien, although it went back to Earth when Allen began having sex. This gag returned again inInvincibleseason 3, with Paul F. Tompkins reprising his role when Mark starts to have sex, once again switching to an Allen the Alien storyline.

Amazon’s Invincible TV show is a hit, but there is a chance that the series would’ve never seen the light of day if not for a forgotten gem by MTV.
1The Tomb Of Ka-Hor
What Is The Point Of This Mummy?
Of all the gags inInvincible, the Tomb of Ka-Hor is undoubtedly the weirdest. ThroughoutInvincible,a ghostly mummy named Ka-Hor keeps appearing, with him hoping to escape his tomb and presumably take over the world. However, he is always fooled in a goofy way. Ka-Hor has had no interactions with the main cast ofInvincible, with his appearances being nothing more than a non-sequitur joke. This is what makes Ka-Hor’s continued cameos so funny, with them being some of the strangest and most mysterious jokes inInvincible.
