One of the more challenging puzzles that players encounter inIndiana Jones and the Great Circleis the Game Room within the hidden pyramid in the final majorregion of Sukhothai. This room is the first that you’ll find once you gain entry to the pyramid, but it is not a particularly well-explained puzzle, which can make it tricky to get right without a little help.
The use of a few different doors that are opened by different pegs in the game board makes thisa difficult puzzle to solve without some intense trial and error. While it’s not too clear exactly what the goal is here—I certainly struggled not withsolving the puzzleitself, but with what it actually means in the context of the story—the solution itself is pretty easy once you know what you’re doing.

How The Board Game Works
Move L-Shaped Pegs To Progress
Known as the Nephilim Game in the Game Room, solving the board game is a culmination of patience and observational skills.Once you enter the hidden pyramid with Indy and Gina, you’ll come across a strange board in the center of the Game Room. Some of the pieces have a hooked L-shaped appearance and the rest are short and stumpy. There are also two additional pegs in an alcove on the left side of the room. These two pegs can be added to the board in a certain way to open another panel on the right near the message that can be found on the wall.
How To Get The Rebreather In Indiana Jones & The Great Circle
The Rebreather is an essential item to get in Indiana Jones & The Great Circle to solve the Serpent’s Chest Mystery, but this tool doesn’t come cheap.
The peg board is laid out in a 3-5-5-5-3 format, with a total of 6 of the small pegs that can be found and 4 of the L-shaped pegs to fill out the open holes. You’ll start with 3 pegs — including the two found in the wall — that are used for the first puzzle and get an additional three pegs. By moving the small pegs into different holes on the board, the L-shaped pegs immediately beside it move in 90° increments counterclockwise. The aim of the puzzle is toface all the L-shaped pegs in specific directions based on which portion of the puzzle you’re tackling.

How To Solve The Game Room Puzzle
Aligning Statues & Pegs
There are two portions of the Game Room puzzle, with the first being to face all the L-shaped stones to the right to acquire more of the tiny pegs, and the second beingto face all the L-shaped pegs to the front to face the statue. Upon entering the room, one of the small movable pegs is already placed on the board. If you look to the left of the room, you’ll find the two stones in the alcove that you’ll need for the first solution.
Since there’s already one stone in the board, you’ll have to remove it to reset the board and set it up for the first puzzle. You’ll need to arrange the stones toput them in a diagonal line through the center of the board between the pegs so that each one moves. Once all the L-shaped stones face to the right towards the panel in the wall, the panel will open and three more stones will be revealed. After you collect the three stones, take all of the stones off of the board to reset the puzzle.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle - How To Complete A Thief’s Promise Mystery In Gizeh
In Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Indy must locate a missing soldier during the hidden A Thief’s Promise Mystery, so here’s how to complete it.
From here, you’ll move on to the last portion of the puzzle in whichall the L-shaped pegs to face toward the statue in the front of the room. It will require all six of the pegs now to face the statues forward, lined up in a zig-zag pattern through the center of the game board. There will be two of the movable pegs in each center row of the game board, with two flanking the front-most L-shaped peg, one on either side of the leftmost L-shaped peg in the center line, and then two on either side of the bottom-most peg.

Once you have all the pegs facing forward, thestatue will then move to the side to reveal a hidden message. From here, look at the message and thentake a photoof it to complete the Game Room puzzle inIndiana Jones and the Great Circle.
