Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteousoffers so manyromance options, from a succubus archer with wings to an ancient queen sustaining her youth with a special elixir. The most adventurous of them all though is surely Camellia. Despite throwing up red flags at every turn, many players (likeMiskatonic) just can’t say no to her ‘charms’.

The Camellia romance is unlike any other you’ve seen in an RPG before (and for that, it’sbetter). She’s not at all what she appears, though it becomes clear eventually. And when you finally do learn her true nature, you’re likely to run far away. For the wild of heart, this guide is for you. Before we start, note youcannot be Aeon, Lich, or Swarmto pull this one off, and you should take Camellia with you always.

Chapter 1: Learning Camellia’s Secret

AfterrecruitingCamellia early in the game, you’ll eventually chat her up in Defender’s Hearth after battling Minagho. When you do, bring up her noble birth, then hit on her with the “I couldn’t resist such a nobile and beautiful lady…” dialogue option.

Soon you’ll automatically trigger the Gwerm Family Secrets quest. This is a straightforward one — just do what the quest log tells you, andeventually you’ll learn Camellia’s secret. When this happens, verify you agree to keep it.

Chapter 3: The Rituals & First Date

Following your foray into Areelu’s laboratory and uncovering the Lexicon of Paradox, the Treachery event card will appear, which you must investigate. (If you have Crusade disabled, just skip to the next part.) Approximately two weeks later,Anevia will stop you at the Drezen gates. Tell her you’ll search for the crusader, then head for Abandoned Building in the southeast of Drezen.

Here you’ll discover Camellia’s true nature. As wild as it is, if you want to romance her, your job here is to support here fully. You can stop her from murdering and still romance her, but it’s risky and arguably, less fun. Generally, go with the Chaotic and Evil options and let her do what she wants to do (including jumping your bones).

How To Add Custom Portraits To Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous

Custom portraits are a great way to breathe life into Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. you may add art that fits your specific hero’s journey.

When you go back outside, tell Anevia the problem has been solved, or to forget about it. After some conversations with Horgus Gwerm and Camellia, the latter will bring wine to your chambers in Drezen. This can take as long as two months, so just progress the game and/or pass time, and eventually it’ll trigger. When she says she wants a friends with benefits relationship, assuming you want more, say anything but “I can’t agree”, then accept her drink and touch her before giving in.

It’s by no means a conventional romance, but it sure is a memorable one. Romancing Camellia especially suits Evil or Chaotic characters, of course. Though they say opposites attract, so if you want to try it on with an Angel, there’s nothing stopping you.

After dealing with Latverk in Middle City and the slaves, talk to Camellia in the Bad Luck Tavernand tell her “That’s not like you” and “I hear you”, then agree to punish Latverk. Rest in the Nexus to trigger another conversation with her, and go with these options:

Following this, check out the new bone amulet in your inventory, then after a gentle interrogation, ask Camellia “Why did you do it?”, and follow it with a thank you. Toward the end of Chapter 4 when you’re about to take the portal to the airship, choose these dialogue options with Camellia:

Chapter 5: Kiss And Make Up

From here, justkeep choosing the first option until she inevitably runs off. While things are in a bad state right now, you’ll make up within a few days. Choose these dialogue options to make things right:

Speak with her once more in Drezen, then leave Iz to pick up the Camellia Wants To Talk event (again, if you have Crusade disabled, just ignore this bit and proceed with the next.) Return to Drezen andagree with her to go to Kenabres. Head there, then to Gwerm’s Mansion, where you’ll run into a servant. Ask where to look for Horgus, then inspect her old mentor’s room (southwest). Head to the basement and inspect it to trigger another talk with her.
