Killing everyone is even required for one of the PlayStation 5 Trophies -“This is THE End.“How they meet their demise can affect further story and plot elements. It can change who the next protagonist is, alter scenes, or completely bypass sections. Additionally, the remaining characters may be traumatized by the loss of a loved one, relish that a rival perished, or attempt to console others. This makes seeing various deaths in different parts of the game worthwhile.
The remake does have improved graphics, which makes the death scenes even more graphic and visceral than the PlayStation 4 version ofUntil Dawn. Theoriginal actors, like Hayden Panettiere and Rami Malek, returned using the same motion capture and audio recordings. If you don’t want to see your favorite star bite the dust, it may be a good idea to pick a less brutal death. Still, if your goal is to kill everyone, then some options may be inaccessible.

How To Get Matt Killed
Matt’s deaths can be a bit comical. His encounter with the wild elk herd feels out of place in a horror narrative likeUntil Dawn. In most cases, you must make several errors to kill him.
Pushed Off The Mountain
As Matt, provoke the elk so that they push you off the cliff. Then, fail the QTEs to get back up.
As Matt,agreewith Emily to head to the Radio Tower.
As Emily, keep the flare gun for yourself or give it to Matt. Since he agreed to go to the tower,he will automatically shoot it. Then, as Matt, he will activelysave Emily twicewhen she falls.
As Mike, pass all of the QTEs when trying to chase after Jessica and the unknown figure.
Bashed In Face
Kill Jessica by failing all of Mike’s chase QTEs or abandon her as Matt. Then, fail any QTEs or let a decision timer expire.
Many Ways To Die - Ways To Kill Chris, Ashley, and Emily
Risks At Every Turn
These three survivors have the most ways of dying inUntil Dawn. It will be interesting to seewhich scenes make it into the film adaptation. It is doubtful that all three of them will live, but it is still possible.
How To Get Chris Killed
Chris’s survival is not only up to him but also very dependent on Ashley. YouTuberGoGa No Commentaryhad to choose between which of the two to gun down. They chose Chris, who actually gave him another chance to live.
Your last chance to eliminate Chris is during the ninth chapter. Chris will automatically escape if he is still around for the final encounter. If you make several errors, such as Sam, it is possible to make Chris the sole survivor.
Ambushed by Wendigo
Eight
When out hunting Wendigo with the Stranger, fail any of the shooting segment QTEs.
Ashley Strands Chris
When Chris and Ashley are captured by the Psycho,choose to shoot Ashely.
When out with the Stranger, pass all shooting segment QTEs. Ashley will still hold a grudge and allow Chris to die.
Wendigo “Jessica” Trap
As Ashley, do not attempt to meet up with Chris. Then, as Chris, follow the voice of Jessica and open the latch.Note:If Ashley is dead, Chris will automatically investigate and die.
How To Get Ashley Killed
Many of Ashley’s possible deaths are linked to Emily. The better Emily performs in her sections, the more she bypasses a later scuffle. Doing so might put Matt in more danger, which may be your intended goal.
As Ashley, do not attempt to meet up with Chris. Then, follow Jessica’s voice and open the latch.
Caught in Lodge Explosion
Ten
As Sam, rush to the light switch before Ashley can escape.
Gouged Eyes
As Emily, give the flare gun to Matt or shoot it now.
As Emily, ensure to take some damage when escaping the Wendigo. As Ashley, point out Emily’s bite mark. But, as Mike, refuse to shoot Emily.
Ashley has called Emily out, so Emily will quickly barge out of the lodge. As Sam, ignore assisting Ashley with the Wendigo.
How To Get Emily Killed
Emily has some of themost brutal deaths inUntil Dawn. But with how chaotic the game can get, you might not even spot them even after playing multiple times. To achieve certain deaths, you need to be methodical.
Crushed in Eyes
When being chased by the Wendigo, fail too many QTEs or don’t start the elevator.
Fall in Rock Grinder
Take the right-side route. Stay on the conveyor belt and fail the two QTEs.
As Emily, give the flare gun to Matt.
During the Wendigo chase, take damage and get bitten. Then as Mike, shoot a “possibly infected” Emily.
As Sam, rush to the light switch before Emily can escape.
As Emily, keep the flare gun for yourself.
During the Wendigo chase, take the left path and pass all QTEs. Then, shoot the Wendigo with the flare to avoid being bitten.
Because there was no bite confrontation, Emily will allow Ashley to leave first. As Sam, simply ignore helping Emily.
Last Minute Deaths - Ways To Kill Mike, Sam, and Josh
They Will Often Live
Mike and Sam are key players in the story ofUntil Dawnand have very few ways of dying. For most of the game, things that should have killed them only leave them injured or scared. It may seem like they are unkillable.

The death of Mike comes only in the final chapter ofUntil Dawn. You will be playing as Sam for the majority of the section. If you don’t mind her surviving, it is possible to kill Mike, Ashley, and Emily in the single action of detonating the lodge.

As Sam, rush to the light switch early and let all other survivors die.
Self-Immolation
As Sam, failthe first stand still promptso that Mike is injured but not dead. Then, get her killed by being noticed by the Wendigo. Mike will then blow up the lodge with his lighter.
How To Get Sam Killed
Sam has only one way to die inUntil Dawn. If you time things right, it is possible to kill Sam but allow Mike to live - pass the first standstill event, then fail the second. But, for the remake, allowing her to livecan reveal a new ending.
