Warning: The following contains SPOILERS for Terrifier 3!Damien Leone, the writer/director/editor ofTerrifier 3,explains how the film’s ending set up for the upcoming fourth film. At the end of the latest installment in the slasher horror franchise, Sienna successfully kills Vicky with her sword, though is unable to do more than just wound Art the Clown, all while Vicky’s disintegrating blood leads to a portal to Hell opening. Unlike its predecessor, which included a post-credits scene to build on its finale,Terrifier 3instead ends on a cliffhanger noteas Sienna fails to save Gabbie from falling into Hell and Art escapes, albeit seemingly without his powers.
Leone toldUSA Todaythat the ending ofTerrifier 3"really raises her stakes"for the next film in the franchise and opens up “the door to the supernatural and heaven and hell and all these wonderful mystic sort of themes,” and thatthe next step would be to “actually put Sienna into hell.“Leone also didn’t feel a post-credits scene was necessary this time because he “wanted to give Sienna and Jonathan that moment to breathe and revel in victory for a moment” while the film’s ending has already confirmed Art the Clown’s immediate rebirth. Check out what Leone said:

I think now she has to figure out a way to rescue Gabbie. And what bigger stakes than to actually put Sienna into hell? [There’s no post-credits scene because] I just wanted to give Sienna and Jonathan that moment to breathe and revel in victory for a moment, instead of just going right into, “All right, they just killed Art the Clown, and now he’s immediately rebirthed back.”

Is Terrifier 3 Really That Violent? Why It Makes People Throw Up
Terrifier 3 is reportedly so violent that its making audiences throw up while they watch it, and a few different scenes are the main reason why.
While Art the Clown suggests thathe and Vicky have killed her brother, Jonathan, inTerrifier 3, whether he’s dead is left on an ambiguous note.Leone’s comment seems to confirm that Jonathan is, in fact, still alive, and Art the Clown and Vicky have failed to capture him, so instead, they took someone else’s life and lied to Sienna as a way to make her comply. As confirmed by Leone, the fourth film will see Sienna and her brother taking a trip through Hell to rescue Gabby.
