So,Mel, one of the co-owners of a shop in town and Kathy’s friend, gives Kathy a scarfthat forever changes her world in Netflix’s fantasy holiday rom-com. Kathy doesn’t know it at first, but the scarf has magical powers.

It’s seemingly too late, though. When the characters pull Jack back into the cold, he doesn’t wake up, much to Kathy’s dismay. Still,she kisses Jack goodbye and takes the red scarf to remember him.
As Kathy and Dottie are walking away, Jack wakes up. It appears as ifKathy’s kiss not only saved Jack but also turned him into a full-fledged humanwho can’t melt. Magic is ultimately the reason why Kathy and Jack get their happily ever after inHot Frosty.
