Like most of her work, Van Patten is great in her role.

Trampsis an underrated romantic comedy, featuring two characters who find themselves falling in love while carrying out a shady deal. The movie is incredibly endearing, featuring two leads with great chemistry. Like all the great romantic comedies,Trampsis breezy and easy to watch, with likable characters and a really fun story. It’s a hidden gem in Netflix’s catalog.

It’s an incredible setting andBoardwalk Empiretakes full advantage of it, crafting a series that is engaging for its entire run, and gorgeous to look at.

The series was one of the earliest roles in Grace Van Patten’s career, so she only appeared in one episode as Ruth Lindsay, in a flashback to 1884. Despite that, she fits right into the world ofBoardwalk Empire, and getting another acting credit in an incredible series only helped propel her career forward, where she was able to get more substantial roles.

Lucy Albright isn’t the most likable character at times and playing a character like that is tough, but Grace Van Patten knocks it out of the park.

Adam Sandler is fantastic in the film, showing that whenever he takes on a less-comedic role, he is a true force of an actor.
