Starting her acting career at a young age,Grace Van Pattenalready has an impressive resume of movies and TV shows. Like most of her work, Van Patten is great in her role.

It’s a hidden gem in Netflix’s catalog.

The series was one of the earliest roles in Grace Van Patten’s career, so she only appeared in one episode as Ruth Lindsay, in a flashback to 1884. Despite that, she fits right into the world ofBoardwalk Empire, and getting another acting credit in an incredible series only helped propel her career forward, where she was able to get more substantial roles.

Lucy Albright isn’t the most likable character at times and playing a character like that is tough, but Grace Van Patten knocks it out of the park.

Adam Sandler is fantastic in the film, showing that whenever he takes on a less-comedic role, he is a true force of an actor.
