While it’s good to know the series will still be getting a definitive ending without Gaiman’s involvement, the final episode will need to be concise to provide a satisfying conclusion. Given the large plans the Second Coming no doubt involves, it seems likeGood Omenswill have a major challenge on its hands trying to satisfyingly end the show in just 90 minutes.However, if the episode is treated more as a feature-length film, with plenty of condensed narratives and focus on the two leads, it might still be able to pull off a proper ending.
Prime Video has also completed production on the Gaiman seriesAnansi Boys, although there is no release date yet.
