The caption started with“When a friend is in need…,”strongly suggesting that Harvey Specter and Ted Black are friends who once worked together.This confirms one of the very firstSuits: L.A.theories about its connection to the original show being Amell’s character, who was once a prosecutor in New York before moving to LA and starting his own firm.
Before he was hired full-time by Jessica,Harvey worked as Assistant District Attorney.In other words, depending on how the timelines of both shows intersect, Harvey Specter would have most likely worked with Ted Black at some point before the events ofSuits. This is not to say that Mike shouldn’t be inSuits: L.A.Quite the contrary, it would be interesting if Mike were also to have his mini-arc inSuits: L.A., perhaps appearing on a different set of episodes for a different storyline entirely.
