Warning! SPOILERS about Fire Country season 3, episode 10 ahead.

The developments ofFire Countryseason 3, episode 10 had someone admit what’s wrong with the Leones’ approach at last. Ever since Bode returned to Edgewater inFire Country’s series premiere, the Leones were at the center of the story and their influence over the town life was also evident, as both Vince and Sharon tried to have their way regarding Bode’s stay at Three Rock. While their meddling tendencies decreased over time, a major problem involving theLeone legacy was still highlighted inFire Countryseason 3, made consistently more evident by all three Leone generations being present onscreen.

Walter’s health already preoccupied Vince and Sharon when he almost burned down their kitchen inFire Countryseason 3, episode 3, but seeing him get to Edgewater in his uniform for Bode’s graduation when it had already happened days before made Walter’s problems impossible to ignore.Walter’s behavior raised even more doubts during his camping trip with his boys, Bode and JakeinFire Countryseason 3, episode 10, but Luke and Vince’s reaction still downplayed the seriousness of the situation. Their stubbornness became so evident in contrast with the reality of the developments, finally unearthing a major Leone problem.

Even Sharon Admits What’s Wrong About The Leone Way In Fire Country Season 3

Vince’s unwillingness to face how difficult a potential situation could be in his personal life has already come up multiple times onFire Country. He seemingly tried to do things differently when he realized he was behaving with Bode as Walter did with him, prompting him to be more open and supportive of Bode. However, when discussing Walter, Vince couldn’t fathom more could be at play than just Walter’s usual forgetfulness due to how much alcohol he consumed, leading him to underestimate and dismiss Sharon’s preoccupation and insistence they should keep an eye on Walter and consider running some tests.

Fire Country Season 3 Subtly Hints At Sharon’s Toxic Trait That Could Derail Bode

Sharon has displayed a troubling tendency to overlook Bode’s steps forward, and her reaction in Fire Country season 3 risks hurting Bode’s evolution.

Sharon calling out the Leone way of shoving problems under the carpet hoping they’d disappear proved she could see Vince’s inability to do something about particularly difficult problemsand she could try and do something about it without his cooperation. Indeed, Sharon asking Bode to keep an eye on Walter showed she had more trust in Bode to understand the severity of the situation than Vince. Sharon’s gamble inevitably paid off, as Walter and Bode inFire Countryseason 3, episode 10 came to the realization tests should be ordered while Vince and Luke went on remaining in the dark.

Why The Leones Need To Change In Order To Make Edgewater Better

Vince, Luke & Walter’s Approach Risks Them Missing Major Problems This Way

Whatever afflicts Walter,it’s inevitable that Vince and Luke’s approach led them to underestimate the gravity of the situation because they were afraid of a more serious condition. This is aproblem all Leones but Bode have inFire Country, something they have to solve if they want to be ready to catch a similar situation when it presents itself on the job or in their personal lives. Hopefully,Fire Countryseason 3 will force them to abandon the Leone way before it’s too late, giving Vince the chance to be more present once Walter’s problem is defined more clearly.
