The Charizard ex and Pikachu ex card illustrations show a large number of different Pokémon gathered in a tableau. In the Pikachu card, the characters are relaxing in a calm forest, while the Charizard scene shows a dynamic and exciting depiction of various Pokémon mid-battle over a body of water.
The Mewtwo ex card depicts a very different atmosphere. The card shows Mewtwo breaking out of a building through a window, then pans inside to reveal a dark and lifeless laboratory and a large broken test chamber. The scene lingers on the broken glass of the tube and, for a brief moment, Mew can be seen in the shard of glass on the top right. The image then whips back to the Mewtwo and its determined expression.
TheMew card inPokémon TCGPis the most difficult to acquire, as it requires players to gather all 150 of the other Kanto-region Pokémon. The card is bright and colorful and uses a very different, more illustrative art style from the rest of the immersive cards. Together, these four beautiful cards make up the only immersive cards that can currently be found inPokémon Trading Card Game Pocket.
