The Epic Games store just kicked off its free games program for mobile devices. Here is everything you need to know and more.

Epic Games has officially gotten its mobile device store back after the massive lawsuit with Apple. While Android has had games from Epic for a while now, Apple users can now play their favorites like Fortnite and Rocket League. Epic Games is also moving its free games program to weekly.

Here is everything you need to know about the Epic Games store’s free games program, which begins on mobile this month.

The Epic Games store has excited players across the world, as specific regions have begun to roll out the app on iOS. If you are anAndroid user, you can play the app from anywhere you want, but unfortunately, theEpic Games store for iOSis only available in countries that are a part of the European Union.

So, what is Epic Games' free games program for mobile devices? Well, it’s basically exactly what it sounds like. Epic Games will be adding games for players to download and play for free through the Epic Games store on mobile.

However, these are not huge games, but mainly just third-party games. A lot of them are smaller titles, but they’re incredibly fun to play.

The program begins today with its first two games: Super Meat Boy Forever and Eastern Exorcist. They’re available for free on the Epic Games mobile app until August 21, 2025.

Once that date hits, we will get a different wave of free games.

Right now, the Epic Games store on mobile devices only has a small selection of games for players to indulge in. While only two of these are free, there are still a few popular games players have been downloading onto their phones.

While many are excited to play these games, remember that if you are an iOS user, you are only able to download the Epic Games store app if you live in any of the countries included in the European Uniondue to Epic’s ongoing lawsuit with Apple.

Epic Games is also looking to have its store added to the U.K. and Japan. Sadly, there are still no plans for North America to get theEpic Gamesstore on iOS devices.
