Lil Petey’s Supa Portable ‘Puter Is Essential For This Match-Up
The “Bacon Me Crazy” trophy inDog Man: Mission Impawsiblerequires players to defeat the final boss, Piggy, without getting hit by his many dangerous attacks. For this fight, you should know that Piggy has two stages of attacks, both with different moves that require some well-timed jumps. Start the fight with Lil Petey becausethe Supa Portable ‘Puter is essential for interacting with the platforms inside the arena. As the fight goes on, Lil Petey will be the most important Supa Buddy and you should use him often.
If you don’t get the bouncy balls to fall through the floor on the first bounce, you can wait until the balls bounce back to the center and open the platform with the Portable ‘Puter then.
After the encounter starts, Piggy will fly up to the center of the arena and shoot two bouncy balls in both directions. It’s best to keep Lil Petey positioned on the solid platform on the left (where you start the fight) and touse the Supa Portable ‘Puter to open the platforms after the balls have bounced a second timeso they fall through the floor. Just before opening them, move Lil Petey across to the right solid platform to avoid Piggy’s burners. With the balls gone, Piggy will gear up for another attack, and players should switch to 80-HD.
Use 80-HD to jump on Piggy’s head as he flies across the bottom of the arena - a low jump will do it, or you may use the Rocket Boots to give yourself some air-time and drop as Piggy flies in. Timing this jump may be tricky at first, butmake sure the center platform is closed and use the upper platforms on the sideto avoid getting hit altogether until the time is right. After bonking Piggy on the noggin, switch back to Lil Petey and repeat the same process two more times. This should get you through to the second stage without getting hit.
How To Defeat Piggy Without Getting Hit
Avoid Piggy’s Sweeping Hooves During The Second Stage
Once you’ve managed to hit Piggy three times, the second stage will begin as he transforms into a giant robot Piggy and destroys the opening mechanism for the platforms. This stage can be completed using only Lil Petey, but you can also switch to 80-HD if you want to avoid the hoof attacks more easily. Throughout the rest of the fight,use the Supa Portable ‘Puter as often as possible. Beating Piggy requires overloading the meter at the top of the screen, and doing this without getting hit will require a balance between dodging attacks and filling the meter.

After the controls are destroyed at the beginning of the second stage, yellow crosshairs will come on screen to lock on to the player character. Have Lil Petey stand on the right platform until the crosshairs turn red,then jump to the left platformas they start flashing.Piggy’s missile will come down vertically where the crosshairs stopped, and immediately afterward,jump back to the right platformto avoid his incoming attacks. He will swing his hoof where you were just standing (and hopefully miss), then follow up with three bouncy balls that should go straight through the floor.
You don’t have to use the right and left platforms in any specific order, but should remember that Piggy will attack whatever platform you are standing on after the missile is fired.
The best time to fill Piggy’s meter is after jumping to the right platform to avoid the hoof attacks. There’s a fair amount of time to hit him with the ‘Puter as he launches the balls, and eventually this will overload him.The key to not getting hit is timing Lil Petey’s jumps between platformsto avoid the giant hooves, and to use that opportunity to fill the meter as much as possible.
