Deadpool and his daughter Ellie fighting a giant Deadpool Mech variant.

THE ELITE ‘POOLS ASSEMBLE! There are those who hold power, and those who hold the secret power in the world. Those who shape the world around us, who pull the strings, unseen. They are… the POOLUMINATI. Or, wait, no, that’s the Illuminati, so what the heck does the Pooluminati do? It’s TOO SECRET… but WADE WILSON is ABOUT TO FIND OUT! The most elite DEADPOOLs across the Multiverse assemble, and they need the 616’s Deadpools. But will Wade (with Ellie’s help) prove himself worthy of the Pooluminati? And even if he does…will the conspiracy theory they uncover spell disaster for ‘Pools everywhere?

As revealed in this preview forPoolunimati#1,Deadpool and his daughter, Ellie(who has also taken the name and appearance of Deadpool after becoming a mercenary with a heart of gold like her dad), are actively seeking the multiversal collective of Deadpools known as the Pooluminati. Deadpool is hellbent on uncovering the secrets of this multiversal Council of Deadpools, and he’ll stop at nothing to prove that he’s worthy of joining them - and his daughter is there to help him every step of the way.

Marvel Comics’ Deadpool variant, Mousepool.

How Deadpool Will Prove Himself to the Pooluminati

Wade & Ellie are Going to Have to Fight a Giant Deadpool Mech

As previously mentioned, Deadpool wants to prove to his multiversal variants that he and his daughter are worthy of joining this elite ‘Council of Deadpools’. Not only that, but both Deadpools want to learn the secrets of this group, and they’ll seemingly do anything to accomplish that goal - including fight a killer robot.

Based on the preview, it seems one of the things Wade and Ellie will have to do to show the Pooluminati that they have what it takes to join them is fight a giant Deadpool Mech, which seems to be a threat to the entire Pooluminati. If they can take down their evil robot variant, Wade and Ellie should have no problem getting into the Pooluminati (if they don’t die trying, anyway).

Poolunimati Has an Obvious Standout Deadpool Variant: Mousepool!

Pooluminati Will Feature Fan-Favorite Deadpool Variant, Mousepool

Overall, the storyline at large for Pooluminati is a complete mystery, as fans don’t know how Deadpool knows about this multiversal organization, why he wants to be a member, or what he’ll have to do to get in. However, what isn’t a mystery is the identity of an all-new Deadpool variant who will clearly be this series’ standout: Mousepool. A cartoon mouse with Deadpool’s abilities (including ‘toon powers’) who is introduced in this comic driving a little car around the Pooluminati clubhouse? Pure excellence, and perfectly tailored for a fun, outlandishDeadpoolstory like this one.

Mousepool was previously featured in 2024’sMousepool Infinity Comic#1 one-shot, and Pooluminati will mark the character’s official return to Marvel Comics canon.

While Mousepool is the obvious standout, this new series will have no shortage ofDeadpool variants from across the multiversethat are sure to excite and delight readers everywhere. Just as Mr. Fantastic has the Council of Reeds,Deadpoolis about to get his own ‘Council’ aptly named the Pooluminati, which is his biggest lore-expansion in years - and fans should be very excited.
