Immediately following the ending of Part 3 ofBleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, a special preview was released teasing the fourth and final part. The preview teases one of the most important and impactful moments of the storyline’s climax, albeit one that some fans were hoping would be substantially changed.
Episodes #13 and #14 ofThousand-Year Blood WarPart 3 aired on Saturday, June 20, 2025, and were followed shortly thereafter by the preview for part 4. The preview depicts Ichigo’s new Zanpakuto, as the two blades slowly come together and reveal his Zanpakuto’s new Bankai form. Then the Bankai blade is shattered in two as the title card fades, and the image shifts to one of Ichigo, holding his blade forward and looking determined. No return date was included in the preview video, however, meaning fans currently have no idea when to expect part 4, although it will presumably release through Hulu again.

Bleach’s Final Part Will See A Lot of Original Content
Fans Expect Part 4 to Have Substantial New Material
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood WarPart 4: The Calamity will cover the final chapters of theBleachmanga, and based on how little of the manga remains to be adapted (only about 24 chapters), many fans are expecting Part 4 will include copious amounts of new content, designed to improve the manga’s rushed ending and offer a more satisfying conclusion to the series as a whole and theThousand-Year Blood Wararc specifically.Tite Kubo is said to be working especially closely with Studio Pierrot on Part 4, giving fans hope for a finale that will blow them away.
With most of Yhwach’s elite guards dealt with, the anime’s story still needs to wrap up the fight with Askin Nakk Le Vaar, as well as Gerard Valkyrie and Jugram Haschwalth. Then, the story can finally move into the last stages to battle against Yhwach himself, with his seemingly unstoppable level of power. This is where most fans are expecting the expansion to take place; the final battle with Yhwach is considered quite unsatisfying in the manga, skipping over some potentially very cool moments in a rush to get to the end.

Bleach’s New Teaser Hints at a Major Moment
The Teaser Reveals a Massive Spoiler from the Manga
The teaser may seem quite unrelated to what’s to come, given its focus on Ichigo’s sword(s), but it actually references a major moment in the manga which, if explained in detail, would definitely constitute a spoiler.ThisBleachteaser references Ichigo’s face-off with Yhwach, along with a very controversial moment in their fight that’s quite shocking to fans on their first read.
The reference to this scene in the teaser may have some fans disappointed, as this particular moment was one that many hoped would be changed in the anime. Of course, the reference is indirect enough that the scene could still be substantially changed, at least leading up to the moment in question. Whether that kind of change is enough to satisfyBleach:Thousand-Year Blood Warfans hoping for a new ending will just have to remain to be seen.
