Deep in the Webbed Hollow, the Destined One can access Purple Cloud Mountain, one of the larger secret areas inBlack Myth: Wukong. Waiting at the mountain summit, where a massive web formation stretches to the heavens,Duskveil holds the key to unlocking Weaver’s Needle. Complete this two-phase boss fight, before taking on the Hundred-Eyed Daoist in Chapter Four.
Stepping through a painted wall in a hidden cove, the monkey encounters a snake yaoguai. She pleads for the Destined One to free her husband. Inevitably, the Destined One will receive this cobra’s blessingby defeating Duskveil. Clearing Purple Cloud Mountain before returning to Webbed Hollow is a good idea, as Weaver’s Needle will make thefight against the Hundred-Eyed Daoist significantly easier.

How To Find The Entrance To Purple Cloud Mountain
Defeat Venom Daoist Twice To Locate The Hidden Painted Wall
In Chapter Four, the Destined One’s hunt for Bajie brings him to the Webbed Hollow,a cavernous area full of venomous enemies. Bajie has been taken by one of the seven sisters, the spider guai chiefs who reluctantly serve the Hundred-Eyed Daoist. The search for Bajie leads to the Pool of Shattered Jade. Near the shrine, a passageway covered by spider cocoons leads tothe first Venom Daoist encounter. Venom Daoist is also wrapped in a cocoon. Strike the cocoon to initiate the fight. Once beaten, Venom Daoist will flee to the Temple of Yellow Flowers.
Later, after defeating Violet Spider, one of the seven sisters will rescue the Destined One by casting a long web to pull the monkey up to theTemple of Yellow Flowers. Upon reaching the Court of Illumination, there is a fork in the road. To the right of the court entrance, Venom Daoist waits to even the score with you. Search the area carefully, the path to Venom Daoist is unmarked. Down a mountain slope, the second fight with the poisonous chief ensues. Defeat Venom Daoist again and the yaoguaishows the path to Purple Cloud Mountain.

Black Myth: Wukong - How To Get Kun Steel
Kun Steel is a mythical material in Black Myth: Wukong that is needed to craft the best weapons in the game. The road to obtain this resource is long.
Clear Purple Cloud Mountain Before Returning To Webbed Hollow
Take On Daoist Mi Before Fighting Duskveil
Before crossing the bridge to the first mountain shrine, the friendly snake warns of poisonous enemies ahead. This is not a ruse. Most enemies are poisonous,so boosting poison resistance is advisable. Craft theNon-Pure Armor of Coiling Loongor spendMind Corewith Xu Dog to upgrade poison resistance.
The extra defense will be particularlyuseful against the Scorpionlordand Daoist Mi. Note that you’ll need to complete the Daoist Mi quest before taking on Duskveil, otherwise the side quest will be locked. Defeating Daoist Mi grantsViolet Hail (Spell).

Defeat Duskveil To Receive Weaver’s Needle
Survive Two-Phases Against The Giant Yaoguai And Receive A Blessing
A Large set of stairs in the Petalfall Hamlet leads to Duskveil’s arena. At Cloud Nest Peak, make final preparations for a long fight. All the poison resistance you equippedwon’t do much good against Duskveil. The chief is powerful but doesn’t deal poison damage. Instead, I advise boosting overall defense and critical hit damage. Equip damage-reducing armor and curios, as well as attack-enhancing items, like soaks. This is a two-phase boss fight,so maximizing damage output should be your focus.
Like most large enemies inBlack Myth: Wukong,Duskveil is weak at the ankles. Closing the distance on this boss is critical so that the Destined One can relentlessly strike Duskveil’s legs and build up focus. When focus is fully charged, unleash a charge attack. Duskveil will stagger when critically hit, so it’s important to reserve spells, spirits, and transformations for phase two; instead, relying on martial arts abilities. This is possible to do because Duskveil begins the fight with a diminished health bar.

Phase Two begins after a lengthy cut scene, where Duskveil harnesses divine power to reach full health. The boss will also start this phase by deployingvaried ranged attacks. Dodge these attacks while working your way back to Duskveil’s ankles. Here, the same strategy from phase one applies with the addition of utilizing Mana and Qi. When your health is low, transform. I found theUmbral Abysstransformation to be useful, striking Duskveil repeatedly to charge up Cold Heart. Don’t use A Pluck Of Many to save mana forImmobilizeandCloud Step.Defeat Duskveil and free its imprisoned soul.
Defeating Duskveil also rewards Kun Steel, a key item for weapon crafting.

Face Hundred-Eyed Daoist To Claim The Fourth Relic
Complete Side Quests Before Taking On The Final Boss
With Duskveil slain, the snake yaoguai from before appears and gifts the Destined One withWeaver’s Needle, the third vessel inBlack Myth: Wukong. If Duskveil is too tough, feel free to farm resources toupgrade your character before returning. Just make sure to come back to Purple Cloud Mountain beforetaking on Hundred-Eyed Daoistin the Court of Illumination, since the monkey will want to have Weaver’s Needle during the final boss fight. Additionally, fully explore the region of chapter four, sono side quests are left unfinished.
One side quest that is easy to miss is thepurple talisman quest. Exploring the areas of Webbed Hollow leads to collecting three purple talismans. The fourth purple talisman is in the Court of Illumination. It’s a tricky placement for a key item, since it’s possible to enter the final boss fight before completing the side quest. Don’t be like me, who failed to collect the fourth talisman before defeating Hundred-Eyed Daoist. This resulted in being locked out of the quest. Take on Hundred-Eyed Daoist when ready and use Weaver’s Needle to claim the fourth relic inBlack Myth: Wukong.
