How Is Chase Perceived On BDSY?

His Perception Is Changing

Bravo’s Chase spoke about his perception by his crewmates coming off of season 4 when he appeared onWatch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

“I wasn’t the most tactful, I said some dumb s**t — but I’ve learned a little bit about myself. And I can see that I’m an acquired taste,” (viabravotv.com.)

Chase butted heads with Gary the most, as Chase thought, and let it be known, that Gary was an ineffective leader. Moreover, Gary hooked up with Chase’s boatmance interest, Mads Herrera, which also caused tension between the two. Daisy thought Chase was lovable, and it was obvious that Chase was efficient and knowledgeable on deck, albeit too knowledgeable for Gary.

When Chase enteredBelow Deck Sailing Yachtseason 5, Gary was displeased given the pair’s history. However, Gary did praise Chase’s work ethic, and Captain Glenn seconded that notion by saying Chase was a great addition to the crew and knew his way around the boat, which was valuable. As for his love life on board,Chase has Stewardesses Danni Warren and Diana Cruz fighting over him. Both women find him very attractive, and they are in a race to make something happen with him.

Given Gary’s history of disliking being the loser when it comes to boatmances, it will be interesting to see how their dynamic evolves. Chase has stated that he plans on staying under Gary’s radar this season, which will help contribute to a good working relationship between the two onBelow Deck Sailing Yacht. Chase is off to a more successful start in season 5 than he did in season 4, and given his growing social media following and self-reflection, he is poised to be a well-liked cast member.
