As many are aware, the United States has significantly increased tariffs on imported goods, a change that evenDC Comicshasn’t escaped unscathed. Tariffs essentially raise the cost of products coming from other countries for both businesses and consumers. However, DC is taking steps to help lower prices.
DC Comics is ramping up its focus on young readers in July 2025, spotlighting a range of graphic novels for middle-grade, young adult, and early readers. However, the publisher is also mindful ofthe ongoing tariffs and how rising pricescould negatively impact young audiences.

To support retailers, and in turn help keep prices lower for readers,DC is launching a special 10% backlist sale on 97 titles, including YA and middle-grade graphic novels, Webtoon, and manga series, available through Lunar Distribution, Universal Distribution, and Diamond UK until April 11.
