Our Take On Ahsoka Season 2… & Beyond

A great step forward for Dave Filoni

What makes this even more exciting, of course, is thatAhsokaseason 2 seems to be a step along the road to a destination announced at last year’s Star Wars Celebration. The variousMandalorian-era TV shows (and movies) are building to a climax, with Filoni directing his firstStar Warsmovie. This is generally expected to feature Lars Mikkelsen’sGrand Admiral Thrawnas the main villain, and it’s safe to assume Ahsoka and Sabine will get back to the main galaxy to participate in that epic adventure.

There had been some concerns Filoni would depend purely on Volume technology for everything he was working on. This latest report suggestshe’s instead seeking to continue refining his skills, moving to different production techniques. That should makeAhsokaseason 2 a marked improvement, while also boding well for his upcomingStar Warsmovie.
